Äntligen!

Mina favvo-vardags-glas finns återigen att köpa. Köpte dessa glas från Design House Stockholm för många år sedan och har frågat i många butiker sen dess om de har några kvar...men glasen hade utgått. Men nu finns de igen! Igår när jag va inne på Design House här i Jönköping så stod dom där så fint, så fint... Tur det, för i vårat skåp finns inte många hela kvar ;-)

Lite kuriosa om designern:
Timo Sarpaneva- Professor Timo Sampaneva (October 31, 1926 - October 6, 2006) was one of Finland’s most well-known industrial designers and artists, renowned for his textile and glass products. Timo’s work can be found in museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York. He is versatile in his work as a designer and artist, making use of ceramics, metal, textiles, wood and glass in his projects – though glass is probably the material closest to his heart.
Och såhär tänkte han när han designade glaset:
“I have tried to bind eternity within the silence of the glass, to fix the fleeting moment which so quickly dissolves, in all its fragile beauty.”

Jaja..lite väl pretto om du frågar mig ;-)- men hur som helst- jag gillar hans glas!
